Ealing Trailfinders to join forces with David Lloyd Clubs Acton Park

Ealing Trailfinders are proud to announce a new relationship with the prestigious sports, leisure and health group David Lloyd Clubs Acton Park.

Established in 1982 by former British tennis player David Lloyd, the leisure group have over 122 premium gyms and fitness clubs situated across the UK, Europe and India, with the nearest site being at Acton Park.

Ealing Trailfinders’ elite athletes and their families will be able to relax in a healthy, premium, non-rugby environment away from the field.

Europe’s leading health and leisure group have previously forged several successful partnerships with Premiership and United Rugby Championship rugby clubs such as Bristol Bears, Worcester Warriors, Sale Sharks and Leinster Rugby.

The health and leisure group have also sponsored an Ealing Trailfinders player for the 2021/22 season, in new summer acquisition and Hammersmith-born back-rower, Jack Digby.

David Lloyd Clubs will be a prominent feature of the rugby club’s matchday media, including ground signage and advertisements on the big screen at Trailfinders Sports Club.

“We are delighted to start this new relationship with David Lloyd Clubs” stated Ealing Trailfinders Director of Rugby Ben Ward.

“After conversations with Head of Performance Tom McLaughlin and several other people in the club, we agreed that players’ time away from the club is extremely important, and we believe this relationship will provide a way for players to recuperate in a non-rugby environment.”

Samantha Murphy, General Manager at David Lloyd Clubs Acton Park, commented -

“David Lloyd Clubs Acton Park are proud to form our partnership with local rugby club Ealing Trailfinders. We are excited to host the club’s elite players, who will be able to use our first-class facilities alongside our community, which will serve as a fantastic inspiration for our members.”
